The Chinese Cultural Center Venue
The Chinese Cultural Center (CCC) at San Diego State University is a beautiful meeting space on campus. In addition to housing CCC exhibits and artifacts, it is a versatile and adaptable space that can be used for a variety of purposes. It has been the location for internal teachers' trainings, events, and gatherings as well as providing space rental for the SDSU community.
The venue's three main areas - the large gallery, tea room, and conference room - provide different configurations for events and gatherings. The large gallery can be used for exhibits or performances, while the tea room can be utilized for smaller meetings or receptions. The conference room offers a more formal setting for presentations or workshops.
The Chinese Cultural Center is a valuable asset for San Diego State University and the broader San Diego community. Most of the display items and furniture are on casters allowing for easy reconfiguration of the space. The CCC can be quickly transformed to suit the specific needs of each event or gathering.
